For some time we have been restructuring parts of the propheticreformation.com website and this is the latest section.
What is so encouraging to us is that this is now hosted on our own server and so we can ‘open it up’ a little more, knowing that we can make changes quickly where and when we need to.
The site is a large one, and is dedicated to bringing a fresh understanding of how God speaks to us, encouraging a greater understanding of the role of the prophetic in the church, and to also address issues that are a concern to pastors and church leaders concerning the use and abuse (including neglect) of the prophetic gifts and ministry that have taken place over previous years.
But what is the prophetic about?
The #1 message of the prophetic is encouraging people to turn wholeheartedly to God and place their trust, hope and confidence in Christ alone.
Many churches around the world enjoy the encouragement of prophetic ministries and encourage members of their churches to be used by God in the revelatory gifts of 1 Corinthians 12.
The commendation of Scripture in 1 Corinthians 14 is that the gifts and ministries of the Spirit are given by God to encourage, build and edify the body of Christ. They are so valuable and precious - but the experience of some has not been conducive to creating an environment of trust and acceptance but cynicism or suspicion.
We hope to tip the balance in a positive way!
