Welcome

A Scripture-honouring approach to the prophetic ministry in the Church today.

1 Corinthians 14:1

Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. (ESV)

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. (NIV)

Great site - but who is behind it?
The Prophetic Reformation website is written by Jon Cressey, a member of a New Frontiers Church located in Sheffield, in the UK.

New Frontiers are an apostolic group of Churches that believe that prophetic ministry is not only encouraging and important in this day and age, but also an integral part of the genuine life of the Church.

This website is borne out of Jon's conviction that the way forward for authentic prophetic ministry in this hour is to ensure that with all integrity, prophets work out their ministry in a Christ-focusing, Scripture-honouring way.

If you are looking
for Prophetic Words...
Sorry, Jon is not in a position to respond to requests  for  private prophetic words or to interpret dreams. This is not out of a lack of care or concern, but in recognition of two things;

• First, the sheer number of requests for input could be overwhelming and he would be unable to respond, and rather than simply ignore requests he prefers to indicate here why they would not be responded to.

• The second and more important reason is that relationships are vital and important, and they form the context for God’s building emphasis within our lives. You are urged to seek ministry from those you are in relationship with whether they are trusted pastoral or prophetic leaders, or family and friends in the faith.

Those leaders and friends God has placed in your lives will be able not only to pray and impart but also walk with you as you steward the speaking of the Lord to your life. Thank you for understanding this position, and the heart and motivation behind it.

This being said, it is always nice to hear from people that have visited the website and been encouraged so do feel free to get in contact here.
